Třeboň region is considered the centre of the Czech Republic’s fishpond cultivation (a total of 460 ponds), breeding fish belongs among the largest economic activities here. The region is ideal for sports fishing and likewise for recreational fishing. You can fish here in fishing grounds on the Lužnice and Nežárka River, or in ponds intended for sports fishing.
